On the 26th of January 2018, Nishi Watch had the honour of being visited by Singapore's President, Halimah Yacob, as part of her tour on SMU Patron's Day 2018, a day to celebrate Singapore Management University's birthday. Founded by Brendon Koh, a graduating student of Singapore Management University from the School of Information Systems, he felt privileged to be able to participate in the SMU Patron's Day as he was given a booth in the Makers Market section to spread his love for watches. Despite the heavy downpour, the event was definitely a huge success only made possible by the organizing committee that was essentially an integrated workforce comprising of full-time staff as well as SMU students.

OUR STORY
Inspired by the Japanese Miyota movement, Nishi was formed based on the japanese words 'Ni' (二) and 'Shi' (四) representing 24 hours. Nishi also stands for counter-clockwise in chinese (逆时针) which symbolizes the timeless nature of our watches.
Each watch is thoughtfully designed and crafted to communicate Nishi's minimalist vibes exuding elegance and simplicity at pocket-friendly prices. We believe in creating products that carry a message of making the most out of your lives - this is engraved to the back of all our watches.
